QATAR INVESTMENT FUND PLC

TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the 15,000 shares purchased on 01 September 2016, the 20,000 shares purchased on the 08 September 2016, the 15,000 shares purchased on the 12 September 2016, the 10,000 shares purchased on the 13 September 2016, the 10,000 shares purchased on the 14 September 2016, the 15,000 shares purchased on the 15 September 2016 and the 13,652 shares purchased on the 22 September 2016 have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 August 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 273,171 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 102,734,713 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 273,171 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 102,734,713.
