TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the 55,722 shares purchased on the 01 July 2013, 30,000 shares purchased on 02 July 2013, the 35,000 shares purchased on 03 July 2013, the 45,000 shares purchased on 04 July 2013, the 28,463 shares purchased on 05 July, the 52,000 shares purchased on 08 July 2013, the 10,000 shares purchased on 09 July 2013, the 60,000 shares purchased on 10 July 2013, the 16,471 shares purchased on 11 July 2013, the 35,000 shares purchased on 12 July 2013,  the 35,000 shares purchased on 15 July 2013, and the 25,000 shares purchased on 17 July 2013, and the 165,000 shares purchased on 18 July 2013, and the 90,000 shares purchased on 19 July 2013,and the 75,000 shares purchased on 22 July 2013,and the 20,000 shares purchased on 24 July 2013, and the 73,000 shares purchased on 25 July 2013, and the 105,000 shares purchased on 26 July 2013, and the 13,500 shares purchased on 30 July 2013, and the 20,000 shares purchased on 31 July 2013, have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 July 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 2,931,211 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 154,950,255 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 2,931,211 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 154,950,255.
