Change of name takes effect

Paves the way for main market listing

The Board of Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company"), formerly Epicure Qatar Equity Opportunities plc, announces that trading in the Company's ordinary shares and warrants will commence under the new name, Qatar Investment Fund plc, with effect from 8.00 a.m. today. The Company's ISIN and SEDOL will remain unchanged. The Company's ticker codes will change as follows:

·      Ordinary Shares: from "EQEO" to "QIF"

·      Warrants: from "EQEW" to "QIFW"

David von Simson, Chairman, said: "Changing the Company name more clearly reflects our investment focus and it helps pave the way for the move to a main market listing on the London Stock Exchange. Securing a main market listing should widen the pool of potential investors, increase liquidity, and underpin our growing profile."

In addition, the Company's website has changed from www.epicure-qatarequity.com to

www.qatar-investment-fund.com.
