Qatar Investment Fund PLC ("QIF" or the "Company")
Notice to Warrantholders - Final Subscription Date
The Company announces that the warrants that were issued to shareholders at the time of the Company's admission to AIM on 31 July 2007 will expire on 16 November 2012. Warrantholders have been sent a notice regarding the final subscription date (the "Notice").
The Notice is to remind Warrantholders of the final Subscription Date falling on 16 November 2012 (the "2012 Subscription Date"). The 2012 Subscription Date is the final date for exercise of Subscription Rights attached to the Warrants. Following the 2012 Subscription Date, all rights attaching to the Warrants shall lapse.
Warrantholders who wish to exercise their Subscription Rights in whole or in part must lodge the Warrant Certificate, at the office of the Company's Registrar, Capita Registrars, 3rd Floor, Exchange House, 54-62 Athol Street, Douglas, Isle of Man, IM1 1JD (the "Registrars") by 16 November 2012 (but not later than 3.00 p.m. on that date), having completed the notice of exercise of Subscription Rights on the reverse thereof and specifying the number of Warrants in respect of which the Subscription Rights are exercised and accompanied by a remittance for the Subscription Price of the Shares in respect of which the Subscription Rights are exercised. Once lodged, a notice of subscription shall be irrevocable, save with the consent of the Directors.
The Company's latest unaudited undiluted net asset value per Share released to the London Stock Exchange was US$1.0530 as at 11 October 2012.
In light of the Subscription Price and latest fully diluted net asset value, the Directors do not expect a significant proportion of Warrantholders to exercise their Subscription Rights. The Notice is solely intended as a reminder of Warrantholders' right to subscribe for Shares and is not intended to convey in any way a recommendation by the Directors as to whether or not you should exercise that right. In this respect, if you require advice, you should contact an independent financial adviser authorised pursuant to the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
A copy of the Notice will shortly be submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and be available for inspection at: www.hemscott.com/nsm.do and is available for download from the Company's website www.qatarinvestmentfund.com/publications.
