Qatar Investment Fund Plc (the "Company") announces that on 11 February 2013 it purchased 10,000 shares of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD0.95. Following the above purchase, the Company holds 10,991,556 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 179,167,899 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

The above figure of 179,167,899 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
