Epicure Qatar Equity Opportunities plc ("EQEO" or the "Company")

EQEO hereby wishes to notify the market that its close period commences tomorrow, 12 January 2010 and is anticipated to end following the release of its interim financial statements for the six months ended 31 December 2009 on or around 12 March 2010. 

The Company wishes to continue its share buyback strategy and therefore confirms that all unpublished price sensitive information (as defined in the AIM Rules for Companies) including weekly unaudited NAV per share estimates has been and will continue to be notified to a regulatory information service ("RIS") throughout this period, and that the Directors and the Company are not in possession of any additional unpublished price sensitive information that has not been notified to a RIS. Any purchases by the Company of its own shares will be in accordance with the Company's general authority to repurchase shares.
