Share buy back

Qatar Investment Fund Plc (the "Company") announces that on 10 July 2012 it purchased 6,126 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD0.885, 7,148 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD0.8875 and 150,000 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD0.89. Following the above purchases, the Company holds 9,236,424 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 223,620,042 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

The above figure of 223,620,042 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
