Share buy back

Qatar Investment Fund Plc (the "Company") announces that on 23 May 2012 it purchased 50,000 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD0.92 and 50,000 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD0.915.  Following the above purchases, the Company holds 5,993,138 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 227,406,169 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

The above figure of 227,406,169 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
