Share buy back(s)

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that on 19 August 2013 it purchased 33,993 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD 1.0500 and 20,000 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD 1.0600.

Following the above purchases, the Company holds 5,705,011 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 174,845,201 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

The above figure of 174,845,201 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
