Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that on 02 July 2013 it purchased 30,000 of its ordinary shares at a price per share of USD 1.02. Following the above purchase, the Company holds 7,620,373 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 176,142,628 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

The above figure of 176,142,628 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
