QATAR INVESTMENT FUND PLC

TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the 225,969 shares purchased on 2 July 2012, the 500,000 shares purchased on 3 July 2013 and the 408,204 shares purchased on 5^th July 2012 have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 July 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 6,486,200 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 176,142,628 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 6,486,200 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 176,142,628.
