QATAR INVESTMENT FUND PLC

TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund Plc (the "Company") announces that the 200,000 shares purchased on 3 April 2012, the 245,000 shares purchased on 4 April 2012 and the 100,000 shares purchased on 5 April 2012 have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 July 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 11,387,663 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 177,282,924 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 11,387,663 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 177,282,924.
