QATAR INVESTMENT FUND PLC

TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the 11,253 shares purchased on 21 January 2013, 9,107 shares purchased on 22 January 2013, the 10,000 shares purchased on 23 January 2013, the 20,000 shares purchased on 24 January 2013, the 5,000 shares purchased on 24 January 2013, the 20,000 purchased on 25 January 2013, the 72,600 shares purchased on 29 January 2013, the 21,760 shares purchased on 30 January 2013 and the 147,768 shares purchased on 31 January 2013 have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 July 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 6,173,979 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 155,847,482 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 6,173,979 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 155,847,482.
