QATAR INVESTMENT FUND PLC

TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the 15,000 shares purchased on 05 January 2016, the 20,000 shares purchased on 07 January 2016, the 20,000 shares purchased on 08 January 2016, the 20,000 shares purchased on 13 January 2016, the 20,000 shares purchased on 14 January 2016, the 15,000 shares purchased on 15 January 2016, the 15,000 shares purchased on 18 January 2016, the 30,000 shares purchased on 21 January 2016 and the 23,000 shares purchased on 28 January 2016 have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 August 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 1,350,503 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 102,838,830 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 1,350,503 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 102,838,830.
