Director Purchase of Shares

Gulf Keystone Petroleum Limited (AIM: GKP) announces that it received notification on the 25th September 2008 that Lord Truscott a non-executive director of the Company and his wife had purchased on 25th September 2008 250,000 common shares each in total 500,000 common shares at a price of 20.5 pence per share. 

This is the first purchase of shares by Lord Truscott and his wife and following this Lord and Lady Truscott are interested in 500,000 common shares, representing 0.14% of the common shares in issue.
