Notice of General Meeting and Posting of Circular

London, 19^th January, 2015:  Gulfsands Petroleum plc ("Gulfsands", the "Group" or the "Company" - AIM: GPX), the oil and gas production, exploration and development company with interests in Syria, Morocco, Tunisia and Colombia, has dispatched a Notice of a General Meeting of the Company to be convened for 3.00pm on Tuesday 3^rd February, 2015 to be held at the offices of Buchanan, 3^rd Floor, 107 Cheapside London EC2V 6DN.

Copies of the Notice of Meeting and accompanying Circular will be available free of charge during normal business hours on weekdays (excluding public holidays) until 3^rd February, 2015 from the Company's registered office and from the Company's website,  www.gulfsands.com.
