Notice of General Meeting

Further to the announcement this morning regarding the cancellation and convening of a new General Meeting of Gulfsands Petroleum Plc ("Gulfsands" or the "Company"), the Company announces that the new meeting will take place at the offices of Buchanan (3^rd Floor, 107 Cheapside, EC2V 6DN, London) at 3pm GMT on Tuesday 3 February 2015.

The Company will be despatching the requisite Notice of Meeting and Form of Proxy to all shareholders as soon as possible.
