The Company also made awards on 2 June 2006 to the above persons under the terms
of The GUS plc Performance Shares Plan by reference to a price of £9.26 per 
share.  The awards are subject to performance conditions and the maximum numbers
of shares that could vest in the case of each of these persons in respect of 
this award are as follows.
