The Great Universal Stores PLC has received notification that Mr John Peace (a
director of the Company) has today purchased 10,000 Ordinary shares of 25p each
in the Company at a price of £5.175 per share. Following this purchase, Mr Peace
now holds 30,000 Ordinary shares in the Company.
