Investment Management Limited ('LGIML') advising that LGIML now holds 40,434,931
ordinary shares in GUS (representing 4.00% of the issued ordinary share capital
of GUS). The notification was issued pursuant to Sections 198 to 202 of the
Companies Act 1985 and was dated 17 December 2004.
