Following the demerger of Burberry Group plc and the GUS share consolidation on 
13 December 2005:

o     share certificates for New GUS Ordinary Shares and any fractional
      entitlement cheques were posted to certificated shareholders on 23
      December 2005.
o     share certificates for Burberry Ordinary Shares and any fractional
      entitlement cheques are due to be posted to certificated shareholders by 4
      January 2006.
