NOTIFICATION OF INTERESTS OF PDMR AND CONNECTED PERSONS
In advance of the proposed changes to the Capital Gains Tax legislation,
Halfords Group plc has today been informed that the following Director / PDMR
share dealings have taken place. Halfords Group plc confirms that each Director
/ PDMR intends to repurchase shares to a similar value at an appropriate time in
the future.:
Steve Whyman, Supply Chain Director, sold 20,000 ordinary shares (0.01% of the
issued share capital), on Tuesday 1st April, at an average price of 292p.
Following this transaction Steve Whyman holds 53,563 shares (0.02% of the issued
share capital).

Note - the announcement on 2 April 2008 incorrectly stated Steve Whyman's
resultant shareholding at 70,000. It should have read 73,563 shares. His holding
following the sale listed above is 53,563 shares.
