DIRECTOR'S INTEREST IN SHARES On 23 December 2009, Halma p.l.c. received notification from Mr A J Meyers, Director of the Company, that he had sold 22,749 shares at 244.8 pence per share and had purchased 22,749 shares at 244.8 pence per share on 23  December 2009. These transactions were entered into for US tax purposes. After the above transactions, the beneficial holding of Mr Meyers in the ordinary shares of Halma p.l.c. remains unchanged at 125,060 shares (0.0332% of the issued ordinary share capital excluding treasury shares).
