                       GRANT OF OPTIONS TO DIRECTORS

In connection with the 2004/05 Performance Related Bonus and Share Option
Scheme, the following Directors have been granted additional options over Halma
p.l.c. ordinary shares, the exercise of which is subject to performance
criteria. Details are as follows:
