                       RESIGNATION OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR


Halma p.l.c. the leading safety, health and sensor technology group, announces
the resignation of Andrew Walker, a non-executive Director, with effect from 22
March 2007.


Andrew Walker was appointed a non-executive Director of Halma in May 2003.  He
has resigned from the Halma Board after almost four years of significant
contribution to the Board.


Geoff Unwin, Chairman of Halma, commented:
