                   DATE OF BOARD MEETING TO ANNOUNCE RESULTS
                             AND RECOMMEND DIVIDEND



The Directors of Halma p.l.c. intend to hold a Board Meeting on 20 June 2006 at
which the announcement of the profit for the 52 weeks ended 1 April 2006 will be
approved.

The final dividend for the 52 weeks ended 1 April 2006 will also be recommended
at that meeting.
