               DATE OF BOARD MEETING TO ANNOUNCE RESULTS

                      AND RECOMMEND DIVIDEND


The Directors of Halma p.l.c. intend to hold a Board Meeting on 17 June 2003 at
which the announcement of the profit for the financial year ended 29 March 2003 
will be approved.

The final dividend for the financial year ended 29 March 2003 will also be 
recommended at that meeting.
