Hammerson plc (the "Company") was notified on 5 December 2012 by the trustees of the Hammerson Share Incentive Plan (the "SIP") that ordinary shares of 25 pence each (the "Shares") in the Company were purchased on behalf of Timon Drakesmith on 4 December 2012 under the Partnership Shares element of the SIP at a price of £4.732 per share. In accordance with the terms of the SIP, Mr Drakesmith was awarded two Matching Shares for each Partnership Share purchased.
