Following the exercise of nil cost options granted on 11 May 2004 under the
Hammerson 2000 Deferred Share Plan, a director of Hammerson plc, Mr P W Cole,
acquired 28,062 ordinary shares of 25p each in Hammerson plc on 19 June 2007. Of
the 28,062 shares acquired, 18,062 shares were sold at £14.89 on the same day.


As a result of this transaction, Mr P W Cole now holds 40,719 ordinary shares of
25p each in Hammerson plc.


Following the exercise of nil cost options granted on 11 May 2004 under the
Hammerson 2000 Deferred Share Plan, a director of Hammerson plc, Mr R J G
Richards, acquired 45,974 ordinary shares of 25p each in Hammerson plc on 19
June 2007. Of the 45,974 shares acquired, 18,888 shares were sold at £15.02 on
the same day.


As a result of this transaction, Mr R J G Richards now holds 109,063 ordinary
shares of 25p each in Hammerson plc.
