Notification of Interests of Directors and Connected Persons
Hammerson plc
Mr R J G Richards, Chief Executive of Hammerson plc, exercised options over
41,600 ordinary 25p shares at 347p per share on 5 April 2001. Mr Richards
then sold 20,700 of the resultant shares at 504p per share on 5 April 2001
and the remaining 20,900 shares at 508p per share on 6 April 2001.
Mr S R Melliss, Finance Director of Hammerson plc exercised options over
30,000 ordinary 25p shares at 347p per share on 5 April 2001. Mr Melliss sold
15,000 of the resultant shares on 5 April 2001 at 504p per share and sold the
remaining 15,000 shares on 6 April 2001 at 508p per share.
Following these exercises, Mr Richards holds a total of 163,340 options and
Mr Melliss holds a total of 139,918 options.
