Appointment of Judy Gibbons as Non-Executive Director

Hammerson plc announces the appointment of Judy Gibbons as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1 May 2011. Judy has over 25 years experience in technology businesses focused on software, internet, ecommerce, digital media and consumer technology.

Judy has held senior positions at Hewlett-Packard, Apple, and Microsoft where she worked from 1994-2005 and was latterly Corporate Vice-President of Global Sales and Marketing for MSN, Microsoft's internet division. Judy is currently a Non-Executive Director at Guardian Media Group, a leading multimedia business, and a Venture Partner at Accel Partners, a technology focused venture capital firm. She was formerly a Non-Executive Director at O2.
