Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Stake in Hammerson
Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan ('Ontario Teachers') has informed Hammerson plc that its total holding in the equity of Hammerson has increased to 8,950,000 ordinary shares, representing approximately 3.1% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
Ontario Teachers has also advised that it holds an additional economic exposure to 20,250,000 ordinary shares of Hammerson, representing approximately 7.0% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company, through cash-settled contracts for differences without voting rights.
Hammerson has been informed by Ontario Teachers that its holding is for long term investment purposes.
