On 5 November 2008, based on information supplied by Morgan Stanley, the Company made an announcement, stating that Morgan Stanley's shareholding in Hammerson plc had fallen below the 3% notification threshold. The Company has since been advised by Morgan Stanley that the information supplied to Hammerson was incorrect and that its holding remains at 5.38%, as stated in the previous notification on 16 October 2008.
