Hammerson plc

A meeting of the Directors of this Company will be held on Monday 4 March 2002
at which the Directors will, inter alia, consider the announcement of results
for the year ended 31 December 2001 and recommend the payment of a final
dividend for the year ended 31 December 2001.

It is anticipated that the preliminary announcement of results will be made on
Monday 4 March 2002.
