Hammerson repurchase of 6.5% Subordinated Convertible Bonds due 2006  
 
Hammerson plc has purchased a further £6,100,000 of the above issue for
cancellation at an average price of 104.64% plus accrued interest. Following
this, Hammerson has repurchased a total of 17.1% of the original issue.
 
Prior to this repurchase, the aggregate principal amount of the Bonds
outstanding was £97,225,000.
