On 11 April 2012, Hammerson plc transferred 1,200,000 ordinary shares of 25p held as treasury shares to the Hammerson Employee Benefit Trust.

The Company's total issued share capital following the transfer comprises 712,626,191 ordinary shares of 25p each with one voting right per share.  No shares are now held in treasury.
