Holidaybreak plc announces that an application has been made to the London Stock
Exchange and UK Listing Authority for the admission to the Official List of a
block listing of 340,000 ordinary shares of 5p each. These shares, which rank
pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in issue, will be allotted from
time to time in accordance with the exercise of options under following 
schemes -

Holidaybreak plc 2001 Savings Related Share Option Scheme - 120,000 shares
Holidaybreak plc 2001 Approved Company Share Option Plan - 70,000 shares
Holidaybreak plc 1996 Unapproved Share Option Scheme - 150,000 shares
