Holidaybreak, the UK's leading operator of specialist holiday businesses,
announces that Richard Atkinson formally stepped down from the Board on Friday
16th September.

This follows the announcement of 5 September 2005 that Mr. Atkinson was retiring
after 30 years with the Group. At that time, it was announced that Carl Michel
had been appointed his successor as Chief Executive.
