COMPANIES ACT 1985 - DISCLOSURE OF INTEREST IN SHARES

On 22nd November 2000, in compliance with Part VI of the above Act, as
amended, Holidaybreak plc received notification from Legal & General
Investment Management Limited whose registered office is Temple Court, 11
Queen Victoria Street, London EC4N 4TP, that consequent upon a sale in the
market of 250,000 shares in Holidaybreak plc on 21st November 2000, Legal &
General Investment Management Limited now hold the following shares in
Holidaybreak plc which are not subject to a concert party and will be
registered as follows:-
