On 17 January 2001, Holidaybreak plc received notification from Barclays PLC
whose registered office is 54 Lombard Street, London, EC3P 3AH that as of 15
January 2001, Barclays PLC, through its subsidiary Barclays Bank PLC, no
longer has a notifiable interest in the capital of Holidaybreak plc.
