                       Disclosure of Interest in Shares

On 25 January 2001, Holidaybreak plc received notification from M&G Investment
Management Limited of Laurence Poutney Hill, London EC3R 0HH that Prudential
plc and certain of its subsidiary companies no longer have a notifiable
interest in the issued share capital of the Company.
