Holidaybreak plc ("Holidaybreak" or "the Company")

PUBLICATION OF PROSPECTUS

Further to the announcement on 17 June 2009 in relation to a share issue to raise gross proceeds of £33.2 million by way of a Rights Issue at a price of 153p per New Ordinary Share, fully underwritten by KBC Peel Hunt, Holidaybreak announces that a prospectus relating to the Rights Issue (the "Prospectus") was approved by the UK Listing Authority (the "UKLA") on 17 June 2009.  

The Prospectus was posted to shareholders on 17 June 2009, and copies of the Prospectus, which includes a notice convening a general meeting of Holidaybreak to be held at the offices of KBC Peel Hunt Ltd, 111 Old Broad Street, London EC2N 1PH at 9.00 a.m. on 3 July 2009, are available for inspection at the UKLA's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at Financial Services Authority, 25 North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS.

In addition, the Prospectus is available to view on the Company's website (www.holidaybreak.co.uk) and will be available for inspection at the offices of Eversheds LLP, One Wood Street, London EC2V 7WS during usual business hours on any day (Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays excepted) up to and including the date of admission of the new ordinary shares to trading on the London Stock Exchange's main market for listed securities, which is expected to be 21 July 2009.
