  HARBOURVEST GLOBAL PRIVATE EQUITY LIMITED TO HOLD INFORMATIONAL MEETING FOR
                     SHAREHOLDERS ON 23 JUNE 2010 IN LONDON

HarbourVest Global Private Equity Limited ("HVPE"), a closed-end investment
company listed on Euronext Amsterdam and the Specialist Fund Market of the
London Stock Exchange, will hold an informational meeting for shareholders at
2:00 pm (U.K. time) on Wednesday 23 June 2010.

The meeting will provide an update on HVPE's portfolio and performance over the
