The Board of Hargreaves Lansdown plc is pleased to announce the appointment of
Mr Jonathan Davis, as an independent non-executive Director as of 1st February
2008.
Mr Davis, 53, a former senior business journalist on The Times, The Economist
and The Independent, is a regular columnist in the Financial Times and founder
of Independent Investor LLP, an independent investment publishing business. His
published books include Investing with Anthony Bolton (2004). He has degrees in
history and management from Cambridge University and MIT, where he wrote a
thesis on the methods of Warren Buffett.
He is currently a Director of Research and Business Development at Agrifirma
Services Ltd, an unlisted investment advisory firm.
Stephen Lansdown, Chairman of Hargreaves Lansdown plc, said, 'We are pleased
that Jonathan has joined us and believe that his experiences will compliment the
skills of the Board - we look forward to working with him'.
There are no matters relating to this appointment that are required to be
announced under paragraph 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules.
