Hargreaves Lansdown announces that Mr Stuart Louden transferred 337,975 shares in the Company, by way of gift, to his wife Mrs Catherine Louden on 17 February 2009.

As a result of the transfer, there is no change in Mr and Mrs Louden's beneficial interest in the Company, which is currently 519,475 ordinary shares or 0.11% of the issued share capital of the Company.
