Hargreaves Lansdown announces that Jonathan Davis will step down as a non-executive Director of the company on 31^st December 2010. 

Mike Evans, Chairman of Hargreaves Lansdown plc said "Jonathan joined the Board in February 2008 and has participated fully in the development of the Board and its processes. It is being announced today that Jonathan has been appointed to a new full time role with the ABI and  therefore it is necessary for him to step down at the end of the year.  We wish Jonathan all the best for the future and thank him for his valued contribution to Hargreaves Lansdown."

Jonathan Davis said "Hargreaves Lansdown is an outstanding example of a business that has made a successful transition from startup to profitable and growing listed company without losing its entrepreneurial drive and flair.
