Harworth Group plc
Directorate Change
Harworth Group plc ("Harworth" or the "Company"), a leading regenerator of land and property for development and investment, announces that Andrew Cunningham, independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of Audit Committee, has informed the Board that he intends to step down as a Director of the Company with effect from 1 November 2020.
The Board has commenced a process to recruit Andrew's successor. To assist with that process, Lisa Clement will defer her own previously announced retirement from the Board by one month to 31 October 2020 and, with immediate effect, will replace Andrew on the Nomination Committee during that period.
Commenting on Andrew's decision, Alastair Lyons, Non-Executive Chair of Harworth, said:
"Andrew has made an enormous contribution to Harworth over his time on the Board as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of our Audit Committee. We shall miss greatly his insight and wise counsel and wish him all the very best for the future."
