UK Coal advises that, pursuant to the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, it was notified on 24 October 2008 that following a transaction on 23 October 2008 Deutsche Bank AG has decreased its notifiable interest to 7,718,533 ordinary shares of 1p, representing 4.91% of the voting rights in the total issued ordinary share capital of UK Coal.
