Statement regarding recent press comment

In  the  light  of  recent press comment, the  Board  of  HW  Group
announces that it has received approaches that may or may not  lead
to  an offer being made for the Company.  Shareholders should  note
that these approaches are of a preliminary nature.

Credit  Lyonnais Securities is acting as financial  adviser  to  HW
Group.
