Bonus Issue
The Board has decided to recommend a one for one Bonus Issue. It will be
effected by capitalising approximately £8.62 million from the amount standing
to the credit of the share premium account of the Company, resulting in the
issue of approximately 862 million Bonus Shares. The Bonus Issue will double
the number of shares in the Company held by each shareholder, with each
shareholder thereby retaining the same percentage interest in the Company's
issued share capital.
The Bonus Issue will be conditional on the approval of shareholders at an
Extraordinary General Meeting to be held in January 2000 and on the admission
of the Bonus Shares to the Official list of the London Stock Exchange.
